Checklist

Waiting for baby.  Realized on this night that our baby could
come any day.  I didn't have a birth plan, hospital checklist, etc..
So that night, I started working on some things and checking them off this list.
You are coming and it is as glorious as this sunset!

"Too good to be True"

These were the pages from a past blog entry about having a baby.

This was when I took down the high chair.

Thank you for allowing me to having another stroller, receiving blanket's,
a stuffed lamb, and more baby soap and lotion.  It would seem "Too good to be true".
Yet, in God's economy, Too good to be True is possible!

Our baby shower

It is time for Our baby shower!
I can hardly believe it!  I worked it out, so mom
could come before she left for Colorado.
The shower was hosted just down the block from
our house.

I am "Over the Moon" about having this baby!

A mixture of ladies...from church, Bible studies, mom's group-
new and old friends,,,I love my girl up front!

We go way back...hanging out with our first born's at mom's groups.

Dev's friends
My lovely hostesses...Paula and Kellie- sweet sweet friends,
Kellie was at Deveraux's shower.
Sweet Catherine...highlight of the shower was being asked
to sing (surprise) with Catherine.  We sang worship songs together.
I was also able to share the testimony of this baby and read from
a past blog entry of praying so much for this baby and yet also
having to surrender, believing it was not going to happen.
And here we are!  A testimony to God's faithfulness!

New friends, Shannon, Kelly, and Angie
Couples Bible study fiends, Kathleen and Angie
Wouldn't be complete without the diaper cake, thanks Kelly!
Yita, also a hostess, designed this lovely invite.

Love when he comes at the end of each shower!

These are the ladies I meet with each week for Mom's in Prayer
and our Keiki planning committee for church, such wonderful ladies of God!

I had to get a shot with my boy!

Back home in our garage looking at the gifts and cards...

Andrew wanted this fox for our baby, so I surprised
him and bought it.
For our baby!
New diaper bag from Dev and Kimmy!
It's official!!  We are having a baby...although the morning
of the shower, Andrew and I are still amazed this is really real!

Building

We are building babies, Legos. Mark Twain shows, paintings, and dollhouses......
"Creating a Bright Future"  This is the sale shirt
I bought, hoping one day it would be for me...
but willing to give as a gift to another.
Years later, I pulled it out of a bin-for me!

Pants I wore when Pregnant with Dev.
They built Bobo's dream Coast Guard ship from Papa D and Tia.
Dev is a great Lego builder!

Dad opened up at Pioneer Inn with his one man
show of Mark Twain...he is hoping he can continue the
show on a regular basis.

It was fun helping him with hair and make up.
In the room he was getting ready in hung a portrait of Mark Twain.
A great setting in Lahaina.

It's butterfly farm time again!
Thanks to Dev's cousin, Missy, we received the idea to build
a dollhouse big enough for the American Dolls.
Blurry pics but wanted to remember my mom helping us out!
Bobo loves photo books, he received one in the mail
from out dear friends, Young and Eugene for his birthday!
Gigi ready to hang out and look at Lego stickers, mom is so
good at being present in the moment with our kiddos.
Mom was often found cleaning up the kitchen and just being helpful.
On this day, mom said, "I am so happy."  I wanted
to capture her happy!
Of course, she was painting.

Papa and dada blessed our girl, building her the dollhouse.
I wonder if Papa will come to play???
