Here we come Texas!

A yummy meal on the side of the road in Covington, WA
as we make our way to Seattle so we can hop on a plane
to Texas.  We are trippin'.....
We found the most beautiful park and lake
behind our airport hotel that we we had a
few hours before bed and an early rise to the airport.

I love these unexpected treasure spots.
Andrew and I walked these paths trying to
figure out what to do with out rental car,
there were some stressful hours.  We wanted
to have integrity and also not be hit with a massive
bill for an accident we didn't cause.  Andrew and
I were in it together and for that always grateful!

And we just happened to be 5 minutes from the airport
that Heather and Brent were arriving to bring
Cole to college.  We wondered what the chances
were of that happening.  So of course they had to
stop because that is the kind of sister I have.
We had a pow wow in the hotel hallway,
marking a significant moment in our lives.
They were letting go a bit of their boy
and Andrew his dad.  I love the way we want to
share significant moments with one another,
the miles have sure separated that happening
to some extent but not enough to feel distant.
Chilling and waiting for our plane.

School on the road...or in the sky!
We began with some good ole' barbecue after
we landed in Texas.

We found all the places we are headed or have been
on this adventure trip....

Deveraux, girl, we made it!  And sooner than I thought!
Thank you Andrew for having such vision and kindness in your heart,
and doing it!

Such creativity we saw all around us and
such care to detail and beauty!

Yes please!

Dev and I got to have an afternoon to ourselves
after we all saw Magnolia in the morning,
we went back for more.

Johanna Gaines mom!
We were sad, we tried to eat at the restaurant but
too many reservations, so we had a yummy sandwich
out of the deli.

A fun memory we have from today!
Cupcake dreams!
Also read we needed to stop at this outside Baylor
University coffee shop.
Sometimes...because it works!
Here we come Seattle tomorrow am
