More May days..into June

We went to our friends house and had a great time
in the pool.  Deveraux is grateful to have a
renewed friend, as moving back can be hard
to break in and make new friends.
Bobo took the plunge and did the big jump,
with the help of some rings.

school time with kitty
mom took over our laundry, thank you Gigi!
Bobo took control when the popcorn
got a little well done!

Tickets to the Memorial day presentation.
Dev took it upon herself to work on a
presentation for us.

Our kiddos love a performance, as long
as everyone watching is very familiar.

The army of course represented for Memorial Day.
Kimberly invited us to her school to meet her students.
see her classroom, and get in on a fun time with a D.J..
(a dad of one of the student's).
They just watched all the action from the side.

It was fun to see all those kiddos she has been working with all year!

Planting Plumbago's...been hoping for these for awhile,
to line the side of our house.  Gigi helped contribute so
we could get the job done!

sweet cheeks!!

Last night out with dad before he heads to Colorado...
what a wild season indeed.  Feel God had us where he
wanted us for dad!

The Langford's surprised us with an album from their trip to Maui!!
Back to our school.  Bobo worked on an alphabet
book throughout the school year.
When we were discussing completing his alphabet project,
Bobo asked, "Then I will know how to read?"
Soon Bobo!
He loves signing his papers, Brother
Amidst the wildness of this season, the moments with Papa
and Gigi and the kiddos were such a blessing and a reminder of goodness.

Here we are secret agents ready for VBS!
The theme was Agency D3: Discover, Decide, Defend
All about Jesus!

Kamp Kumulani....VBS through our church.  It was Monday-Friday
every morning for a week.  It was a great week to be a part of...
anyone who has participated in VBS knows those songs run
through your head all the time...which is great because the words
are so good.  The kids loved the singing the songs with hand motions.

I loved catching Bobo in his little group, he is often
by my side, so fun to see him on his own a bit, a reminder of his growing self!
Dev asked to give one of the Bible's to this
sweet girl in our group who said yes to Jesus!

Bobo found a buddy.
I volunteered for the week and these were my girls!  It was fun
to be around local kids again.  Deveraux wanted me to have her
in my group, which was great!
Dev loved craft time and they had some great crafts for the week.

It was a big week with VBS in the morning, a rest time, then we
had to hit the books because we wanted to finish our home school
year before the Bergstrom's (my sister and her kids) came to visit us.
This was Dev and I preparing for her presentation.

Annual tradition to begin summer, pick up some summer shoes!!
finishing up her art book
silliness with Gigi, who is a good sport at playing!

Yeah Bobo, we finished his alphabet on the wall!
Yeahoo, Dev and I finished..now she will just present her school year
for the Bergstrom's when they come to visit.

I couldn't believe Andrew just gave him the weed eater
and he was out there getting it done!
A boy and power tools!
Dev working on a American girl doll craft.  Dad spent his last
week in Maui before heading to Colorado with us.

Finally made the Apple jack cookies from the Math book.
lots of dinners shared
Last times with dad before he heads to the mainland.
What a season we all did not expect.  Dad experienced a major loss
in a relationship.  I am glad God had us placed to be available for him.
We love you pops!
Doing the lawn can really tucker you out!
We thought this was our last meal with Gigi, but the Bergstrom's
had a delay so it would be one more day before their arrival.
My sweet friend, Jackie, and her family moved
back to the mainland.  I will miss her indeed.  She was
a true sister in Christ and God used her to give me
hope in friendship.
The summer scene is set...come on Summer!

I was very excited about my red chair find at Ross, a great deal,
and now we have a set of chairs to bless our lanai and those who dine!
Dad left us with his plant to look after...
I was trying to bring in a bit of white
décor to help lighten things up for summer,
a great tip from my friend.

Another sleeping picture...but soooo cute!
The snow cone stand for American girl dolls,
Dev and I worked together, it was fun!

I taught Dev how to make a lei...a student I worked with at the middle school
had taught me.  We made them for the Bergstrom's.

All ready!
