Here we go...Colorado bound!
I like the shades at night.
Dev and I laughed later at her outfit,
"Cherished girl", it just struck us as funny.
I am always nervous flying with them by myself.
And the last few trips have gone so smoothly.
And in order to see my mom, this is what we
need to do. I started feeling again that maybe she
should be living with us, which would require so
much. I realized I just needed to see her, so we went.
Working the seatbelt.
Houston, we have arrived!
So good to be in Lou's home, she is one of the most
hospitable individuals I know.
We went to hang out with Gigi at her place.
I so enjoy seeing the residents there each time.
I really do like old people, they have so much to offer.
School in the Glossinger's backyard during
nap time became our thing.
Colorado Fall
Bergstrom's backyard hanging...
Dancing hula for mom
While Dev, Cambria, and I were with mom,
Aunt Heather and Bobo were busy
building a tent. I was so grateful they had
this time together.
That is our cousin Anders.
Surprise Gigi! We came to visit!
At Gigi's they have so many animals to love on!
Happy Birthday Gigi!
Dance party! Gigi joined in!
A good walk with Heather.
I can never get enough Fall!
A marker of this trip was also celebrating the life
and grieving the loss of Missy Bennett, a friend of
Stef and Heathers and a woman I met because we went on the
same mission trip together. I learned that in Christ we all
have a free will to love. She faced the darkness and Jesus
brought her home as her mom spoke about at her memorial service.
Both are true. We can love Jesus and follow Him and still
face darkness. Just wish she didn't leave behind children.
Always a stop at Anthropology!
Yes, Happy!
Her favorite!
While she points, Cambria and I will cruise around.
CRAZY in Gigi's room.
She would just smile and enjoy them.
So thankful we can be with her.
