It was fun wearing shorts and hanging out at "our" beach. It is not often that we are warm and crowded at Carmel Beach, it was fun to just hang out. We also are amazed at how late it stays light, like 9:00 pm. One night Drew met us at the beach after a run and we had to go and get his car where he had parked it. I had the crazy thought to go get ice cream at McDonald's, They have chocolate dipped cones now! We were excited! And I told the kids we were really experiencing summer..we left McDonald's at 10:00 pm!
