Preparing for Easter

Back to Easter 2015
Its really tough to see...but, Andrew, Bobo, and dad are all
up in an airplane and we could see them from our lanai.
Andrew's co-worker co-owns a small plane and he took
them out for a ride.

There was a ring around the moon, really cool and
really hard to capture with a camera.

We made a Roman Road!
Sand art
Treats received on an outing with Kimmy
Our Easter Garden

I thought it was so funny to see my dad and Drew sleeping
in a similar position, must have been a Saturday..Football!
We had to make some resurrection rolls for Sunday School
the next day.

We usually die Easter eggs the night before Easter and have pizza.

Glad to have mom at our table!

We wait for Sunday!

More Maui moments

Another field trip to a lovely garden on the grounds of
the Ritz Carlton.
I tried to have one of those "meaningful" home school
moments where we had our journals and I wanted
the kids to write about their lovely garden visit..
Well they didn't want to cooperate in that moment.
Flexibility is important and a sense of humor when
homeschooling your children!

Then we saw the pigs!

Hello Spring...Dev and I love seasons at Pier One...
sometimes that is as close as we can get to a season outside our home.

Many hours spent in the lover half of our house..working away!
One day our art book took us to portrait drawing...
Gigi drew Bobo and he drew Gigi.

We read about Alexander the Great and Dev made a horse.
Then we had battle

Bobo proudly hung his picture of a wave,
This year in school, he really enjoyed drawing waves.

I kept this picture because it is significant.
My dad brought his roommate to church one day,
hoping to give Mark hope.
Sadly, Mark has since passed away.
I have a baby the size of a banana!

We hosted a party of the Solazzo's, who stayed with us for a few days
in March.  They have been such sweet friends over the years.

A little reunion for Abby, Dev, and Cici...who have known
each other since they were little.

Fun!  Our kids all get along well.

We so enjoy being with you Solazzo's and now we have
joined the ranks of three kiddos!  We look forward to
our next time together!
