Colorado...here we come! Traveling with three kiddos!
We headed to Colorado in January for a visit.
Saying good-bye to dada is never easy!
We were so excited when we landed we saw snow!
I love coming home!
Get out your hats...thanks Kimberly for the Christmas presents!
The Bergstrom's backyard, yummy snow!
We were excited to have different weather!
We are too!
Thinking of you dada!
Bobo LOVES snow ice cream!
I love Stef;s backyard and the open space, it just makes me
feel at home!
Bobo really enjoys partaking in winter sports!
This trip was significant. I had a lot I was feeling
about this baby Many fears. I felt I embraced the
baby as I looked up at those familiar mountains where
I see God, and I thought...the God of these mountains
can handle me and this baby! I was comforted and
I began to talk to my baby and introduce (now her) to
my Colorado mountains.
Three cheers for cousins!
A little zip lining in the snow.
We took Auzie, the Bergstrom's dog for a walk. Almost daily,
I took him for my walk. It is always a meaningful time for
me, my exercise times. This season was walks with a
baby in my tummy.
A successful snowboard run.
Target!!
Loved these signs in the girls bathroom at Missy
and Carter's school. Hope our girls grasp this!
Cannot be a complete Colorado trip without this stop!
We got Grace with all those donut sales at dada's work!
And this Lego stop was fun as now Bobo is into Lego's.
He loves his buddy Carter and he is so good with Bobo.
I had to look at the baby section at Pottery Barn kids,
do I really get to look at all this stuff again, for me!
Almost feels too good to be true.
I loved this sign!
My stop, Anthropology...I couldn't find the boys,
and then I spotted them.
Magical white lights in this shopping area.
A family night that ended silly and crazy as they often do...
wrestling, showing off moves, and a whole lot of laughing!
Dev loves Aunt Heather!
First night with her new doll.
Love this look of the mountains as you drive.
"Every Story Whispers His Name" ..I love this sign
hanging at Stef and Roy's church.
We were thrilled to watch Carter in his goalie position.
Snow melted!
Uncle Roy teaching Bobo spin his ring trick.
A lunch outing
They love ice skating!
Cousins!
Sisters! Love 'em!
Magical! I love Colorado, it is such a treat for us to come.
Bobo's so fast, he is a blur!
No trip is complete without painting at Aunt Heather's
work, Canvas and Cocktails.
15 Weeks!
Noelle's lovely talent show!
We also got to see Anders rock it on the hockey rink!
My sweet sisters tried these belly's on in the Gap
maternity dressing room.
It was a dream for me to be able to walk in this section again one
day...for myself. The shirt I am wearing I bought several years ago.
after Bobo was born. It was very inexpensive and I bought it thinking,
if I won't wear it one day, I will gift it. Well, here I am wearing a shirt
that reads, "Building a Brighter Future."
I am blessed by this family...it's always good to see when I have
been away awhile on an island that things are still the same.
A quiet spot...we were so bummed because we caught the flu,
sweet Andrew let me extend our stay so we could make up
for some lost days.
Our cozy spot.
He discovered this...
gift from Lou lou
And we got to see Cole's game, very fun!
We had fun visiting the twins school.
Bobo received his great great uncles dog tags from WWII,
he was pretty excited.
snow is melting
Sweet Cole knew I would want a picture of him
in his uniform, so he came out to take one with me.
Always a stop at Roller City
We spent a glorious day at Red Rocks with
the Glossinger's..it was a great Colorado
blue sky day!
Red Rocks!
Baby bump!
I took this because Drew and I saw Celine Dion at
Red Rocks, not sure if this was the year and we
can't remember if we were married or not...
Look at the sky!
Blue Cow treats!
Heather and I had a lovely time while
our kids played in the river. It was an
early spring Colorado day and we were blessed!
We ended the trip with a family time at Glossinger's...that is usually
how we do it, hanging with everyone!
This started the RC car craze...Anders gave Bobo
an RC car and now he is hooked!
We are in Maui now!
Mom helped Dev put away her things after the trip.
Back to the books!
Making Valentines!
We are so blessed by our family and they are all there in Colorado...
ready to enjoy, engage in good conversations, step into
their lives and go to our familiar spots, its good to have a home
away from home.
Colorado will always have my heart!
Until next time....
