On returning Home

"Your child doesn't want to perform for you.  Speak to their character.  Listen to them.  See them and set boundaries.  Don't feel like you have to correct everything.  A lot goes away on its own.  Stop just applauding their performance.  Don't interrupt.  We ask a question and then interrupt to correct what they say.  Count in your head before you speak.  Look and listen.

How I can experience that with my 3 on Maui where seasons are less detectable. I can either complain about the lack of woods and that means we can't really be, "Wild and Free, or I can engage with what we have and discover the nature that we live in.
