good-bye gigi
answered prayer
This evening and this picture represent answered prayer. The first week we had moved to Carmel, we were walking along the beach path looking down on the beach. We saw all the fires on the sand with all the different groups of people gathered. I looked with longing. First of all, a fire on the beach, amazing! Secondly, being so new and not having friends, the vignette I witnessed made me want to know people and have friends and be a part of a group gathered by the fire. Well here we were with a little group of friends on the beach....

| They have both been wanting to ride horses all year as we passed them everyday on the way to Dev's school. They finally got their opportunity at a birthday party in Carmel Valley. |

| Mom just loved all the Carmel houses, we took a walk one night and just took pictures....I am hoping for a Carmel series of watercolors! |

| mom is such a good sport...we had spa time with pedicures and Deveraux doing hair! |
