Ohana Night of Advent

Practicing

Here we go.
Ohana Night of Advent.  This was our second year and an
evening close to my heart.  I so love sharing the message of Advent
for families at Christmas.

Our chorus and Ukulele band
I began the evening talking about what Advent is
and then we showed how Advent looks
though the Fergusion's and celebrating as
a church family.

Bobo's artsy shots...

And our Kumulani Keiki Team at the end of the evening.

November into December Days!

We leave celebrating Dev's birthday and Thanksgiving
to head into December anticipating a month
of preparing and celebrating!
The Bowens dropped of Dev's birthday gift
and realized these two had on the same shirt.

Hanging out in her brother's room.
Playing with his buddy Myles, hoping to a
make a little money.

This is when we were trying to get all the non working
lights off the tree.  Not the best idea to buy a pre-lit tree.
Practice with our chorus and band for the Christmas play.
A surprise meeting in a parking lot for
Bobo's Christmas present.

More Art!

Our fake tree that I really loved this year!

So we gathered to make our first craft as a campfire group, we
meet every other week with some hangout times in between.
Thankful for this group of women willing to trust me as
we go on this journey.
I always wanted to make a driftwood tree.

This was my messy Christmas house.  I said yes to all
the things..decorating, cookies, and I'm not even sure what
else but I know I felt overwhelmed.  I know I have to
be careful to do things well not just "do all the things."

I will keep singing the praises of Art this year!
A great surf watch at Honolulu Bay.

She is not afraid to have fun!
LOVE my morning runs.

Dev and Bobo having fun!
Making her Christmas presents.
Date night.  Folding and watching!
My boy and his mound of nachos. Bobo has
interest kitchen ways...
This was one of those nights when the feast is laid out.
Our KKC (Kumulani Keiki Committee) from church
had out Christmas party and one of the ladies hosted.
It was a one pot seafood meal and it was beyond good.
A sweet gathering.
This has been going on in our home for awhile
and it has been passed down and now she
makes the space ready for restaurant play.
We look forward to more December days ahead!

She is 12!

Love all around for this one.
My right hand girl.  We sometimes speak the same
language as we move about preparing for a party,
planning something coming up, or working ''
through life that brings things to talk about and
work through.  I love her through and through.

Headed to stores for shopping fun for Dev
and ended at Outback.  A great afternoon!

We love you Dev!
