So the official birthday, Nivember 27, 2012
We went and sprung Devearux early from school and took her to lunch!
I asked her that evening what was a favorite part of the day...she said going to lunch with Bobo. It was a sweet time!
Just had to get a few snaps of Dev her her b-day apron!
Deveraux chose Outback for her birthday dinner with family. She always loved going here in Maui.
Sweet Auntie Catherine and Uncle Lance in Maui stocked up Devaerux with lots of cooking supplies! They are so thoguhtful!
We gave Deveraux a camera case, telling her that she could put a older camera that she had in there (one that doesn't work)....then...
Surprise! A new camera (I want this one)! She was so excited. I remember how it felt when you just got exactly what you wanted and you couldn't believe it was yours...I am trusting she will follow in my footsteps and capture a million memories!
Then we read an email from Papa D and Tia in Mississippi and found out she was receiving a gift card from American Girl doll for a new doll! WOW! We were surprised! She also received cards and money from Papa and Kimmy, Aunt Dot and Gigi...(Which we have spent with much enjoyment..boots, a doll, a shirt, and a Christmas tree!!)
Deveraux received so much love in words and calls during the day!!
Thank you sweet family and friends for celebrating with us and giving Deveraux the gift of hearing and knowing that she is so loved!!
We will remember this time!
