From the cross to Resurrection!

A reading left by my front door from my dear friend, Joy.
I read it on Good Friday, as she suggested.  I will do this each year.
A good friend gives you a good reading!
 Good Friday.

Saturday morning was breakfast with Deveraux's
past Sunday school teacher.
Making muffins for Mr. Jonathan's (Bobo's Sunday School
teacher) last day and for our Carmel Firefighters!

Easter treats for our neighbors.

Little nests
So I was a little weary after our full morning into afternoon of baking
and then cleaning up.
I went into the garage only to find red glitter all over the floor and
all over the hands of my boy.  I felt some tears of just feeling tired and
exasperated of mess.....and wanting to show the effects that little curious hands
can sometimes have on a mama....
I came into the kitchen and Deveraux had this little surprise waiting for me.

Delivery time
The evening held egg dying.  Bobo did not really have
a memory of dying eggs.  It always surprises me...both
what they do remember and what they don't remember.
We continued with our 3rd year tradition of pizza eating
with egg dying.  Egg dying went so fast this year, I only did
a dozen, I will do more next year!

We had a sweet time reading on the porch as the rain came down.
I loved that Deveraux was holding her lamb asleep when I went into her room.
Now the fun begins!
For Drew especially as he filled 120 eggs for the egg hunt!
I hung a lot of butterfly's, hot gluing them to the
ceiling around midnight!
I got to bed around 1:30 am...

So our caterpillar turned into a butterfly and the tomb is empty!

Happy Easter
Resurrection Sunday!
