garage sale

"We must be doing something right"...Bobo said as we talked about serving brownies at our garage sale.  He said he had seen that at another garage sale, so we were "in line" with garage sales.  Good thing!

Up in the morning getting the signs out.  Now we are not

"die hard" garage salers"...so we were going to start at

9:00 am, but as soon as the signs were up, we had our

first customer before 9:00. 

Our main incentive for the garage sale was selling some left over

items from our renters as well as making a little cash.  Deveraux

had a list started for her share in the "pot." 

 

We had Dev's friend come and help out from down the street.

I must admit I was in the house a lot.  I did whip up another batch

of brownies and a batch of scones....but I am a bit embarrassed putting stuff

out and having the shoppers come.  I guess if something is not that great, I know

it is linked to me as I am the one putting it out.

  Well Deveraux earned enough to pay for half of her dog and it might just be

another 20 years before we have another.....

The scones and brownies went like "hot cakes!"
