Rainbow for Bobo!
"It's my birthday!"
He's Five!
Started the day with a trip to McDonalds with dada and
a look at a surf magazine.
His first gift was from Dev who realized when she did not\have
a gift for him, she could make him one.
A Deveraux look.
I love both their captured smiles in this one!
She made him a cape for his kitty.
And a bed for coastie. She was so proud to give it to him.
We decided to go on a whale watch for Bobo's birthday, he had
been talking about getting on a boat and Peggy was with us,
so it was a good day to go see some of the last whales of the season.
We knew we may not see anything due to the season being
almost over for the whales. But we were able to watch
a mama, baby, and an escort!
I love being on the water and looking back at Lahaina.
Bobo was able to help with the microphone that goes
into the water to hear the sounds of whales.
We hit the library just to get a "few" books and of course
came out hauling a bunch!
Had to do shave ice!
I loved that they were wearing matching shirts.
I see these two getting closer each day!
Bobo loves hanging out with his dada!
A birthday wrestle!
Kimberly came over with a spider man card and a gift for
Bobo! We were so blessed as many of presents and our
families presents had not arrived in the mail
Dev made Bobo's cupcakes and then we put anchors on top.
Bobo wanted pink cupcakes!
We had Bible study that night, so we had cupcakes for everyone.
Bobo did not want to come out from under the table and have
everyone sing, so we just said, "Happy Birthday Bobo"!
There were gifts from the Langfords all the way from CA,
from Peggy who as staying with us, and money from Gigi.
Bobo wanted to spread all his gifts out.
Right before bed, we pulled out the Bright Orange Bike!
He "rocked" it the next morning on that new bike!
Bobo...you continue to thirst for adventure! You
seek with curiosity (sometimes with much distraction).
There are so many things you want to see and experience!
You love anything rescue, you study books without yet
knowing how to read, and you love to play with your sister.
You often push the limits in all ways. You often have
a song you are singing, you have a tender heart and
are sensitive (although at times too quick to speak).
You really take things in and will bring them up
several days later, you are a thinker.
You look out for others. You keep us "hoping."
You have your own drum beat and we like it!
We pray kindness in your heart towards others
in the ways you speak, a curiosity that never stops,
safety on the ocean waves you are growing to
seek, (you have such focus in the water), and
a growing love for Jesus!
We pray for a Spirit of power, love, and sound mind!
You are a mighty Warrior! Our mighty Warrior!
We love you forever!
Sing your song Bobo!
