Christmas Play...In their Own Words

The evening has arrived...we are ready to present our play.
Here we go!

Deveraux is the mom in our play, we have
Gabriel, and our older Jesus.

Our wise men....
Some sweet sheep
Our ukulele playing Gabriel.
We began our play showing a family doing Advent.  The kids
are grumbling and not really into it.  They open their Advent
book-which was our film on the nativity- and their hearts
are transformed.  In the end, the nativity comes to them, literally.
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, shepherds, all the players come into
their living room for a dance party.

We sang carols throughout and the cast in the
front of the stages led the singing.

We were able to "borrow" an infant for a few minutes for the
filming of Jesus born in Bethlehem.
Cambria was our older Jesus when the kings come to visit.

Dance party

This was a great experience.  I enjoyed the kids and they were genuinely
invested in being there and being a part.  This was my first time directing
a film and it was very enjoyable....I hope there is more in our future!
It was also great to be a part of with my kiddos!
Merry Christmas!
