Deveraux forcing my hand to start Fall on Maui
by getting out the fall box and decorating.
Back to Maui life.
Our Online Art course that I am gobbling up this year.
Deveraux enjoys and mostly Bobo "puts up" with it.
It is challenging but teaching so many great techniques,
getting outside our normal drawing tendencies,
and asking us to think about perspective, light
and shadows, and shape.
Deveraux fixed up Cambria's little play area.
Bobo was inspired by his cousin and turned
part of his closet into a music studio.
My girl decorating her room. I joke that
her room right now is just her decorating room,
not as much time is spent in there.
I am sure that will change.
Chalk animals
Wow Bobo, those art lessons are paying off!
A sweet pic of mom that one of the ladies who
works with her gave to me on our last
day visiting.
Bread made by Dev, our baker.
We really like whiskers right now.
Third year for ukulele contest. Not as prepared
this year but I think he mostly did it for me.
He did well and I was proud of him
for once more getting up there!
She loves the park!
Every once in awhile we have to remember to
take our littlest one to the place where
her face lights up when we pull in.
Any surface is a jumping surface!
Light on babies!
Church admiration society!
This is a "Remember when..."
Remember when you wrote on the table in the
Sunday school room while I was in the other room
for Mom's in Prayer. And what you wrote was
your name. Needless to say, we were called
back in to clean up and mom was a bit embarrassed
in front of the children's director.
Bonfire to say Aloha to our dear friends, the Beeman's.
Another friend loss. Hoping for their swift return!
Early driving lessons!
She fixes her lunch most days.
Watching the neighbors pool go in,
we have to be careful not to be too jealous!
Bobo making plans for a photography class
and writing down what he needs at Ace Hardware
for his garage work. My kids are good at
making plans!
One of her areas. Most of those toys have seen
several babies!
Our kind neighbor fixed our ottoman. I love the
idea of adults teaching our children either
their hobbies and skills. Its such an organic
and good way to learn.
A needed date with this boy of mine. All the surf
shops walked through-twice, fish tacos, and
shave ice. So necessary to have one on one times
with our kids. It presents a different time.
