So after leaving CO, we had stayed in 3 different
hotels, the night before our cruise I think we
finally got settled around 3 am after our
Disney day. It was full!
And I was able to grab coffee with my dear friend
Marci as our hotel was so close to her home.
SO a cruise! All new to us. We were taking it all in.
Our room, which was great!
I always thought the widows were those small
portholes, so I was very happy with our big window!
My favorite view on the ship.
We like stairs.
Good-bye land!
Of course Andrew joined in the dance party
we left, with Cambria.
Cambria was asleep for check in so her picture
for getting on and off the boat was a sleeping one.
Looking back on our boat from our smaller boat
taking us to Catalina Island.
The best thing we did was renting this golf cart
to drive the island. It was so fun
and a great highlight!
Everyone has golf carts, you have to
get a permit to own a car. Island Life.
Hey home for a week!
Needed this as I like the number 3!
Carseat in a golf cart!
We spotted a deer on our drive.
Now mama behind the wheel, watch out. It was quite fun!
I have sweet memories of coming here with my dad
once before. We sailed here and slept on the boat
but came into shore to explore the island.
It was fun to come back with my family.
So we got in trouble for letting Bobo
try his hand at the wheel-oops!
Deveraux capturing the sights she liked.
(Met up with Dale and Tara for a bit on the island).
Headed back.
Back in the room. Workout for mama and meet
up for dinner in the dinning room.
Everyone looking handsome!
So the dinning was a highlight especially for the
kiddos and lasted awhile. We would order many
different things so we could taste some new
more exotic choices.
And then we had to try many different deserts!
And then there was live music which Papa D
loved showing Cambria which she loved.
Two shoes, from the 50's and 70's, which
the kids really liked!
Breakfast on deck.
And Mexico here we come!
A new day to explore!
