Continuing to move in

A window into our days... I love our bedroom windows! They are old and they look out to green which gives everything newness!

Just hanging out!

Our "laundry Queen"! From the day we moved in until she left, Tera did laundry!

Papa D sharing his milk with Bobo!

Girl's Night out!

We are ready girl!

Tia cut Deveraux's, Anderson's, momma's, and Papa D's hair all in the same day!

We are completely blessed to have grandparents who love our children and want to be with them!

Fisherman's Warf, Monterey, CA

It's always fun with Papa D and Tia! Even through all the work, we had some fun outings and they are enjoyable and fun to be with!

I love my girl!

Deveraux loves fashion! She loves putting outfits together.

Ahhh...the food to try is Clam Chowder and each restaurant has pots of soup outside with samples enticing you into their restaurant. Bobo was enticed!

One of our favorite treats is to go into the old fashioned candy store after dinner and indulge in a treat or two...

San Francisco

We love the Golden Gate Bridge!

It's just fun to be on adventures, we had a good day.

Miss Deveraux Grace lost her first tooth in San Francisco! An exciting first!! When Deveraux was going to put her tooth under her pillow she was concerned that the tooth fairy would take her tooth. I thought maybe the tooth fairy had enough teeth and could leave Deveraux's special tooth...and she did!

A treat for her tooth!

It's Circus Time!

Andrew found out that the Ringling Barnum Bros. & Bailey circus was coming to San Francisco, so being that great dada that he his, we made it to the circus.

Got Tickets!

The colors were really beautiful and it was quite a spectacular, when the ring master said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls..." it was exciting.

Fun show, I think we agreed it is one of those things you only need to do every few years. It was also hard as we were walking in, there were several animal activists letting us all know about elephant cruelty that occurs. I am not sure about the facts but it did dampen some of the show. Also, as with children things come up. Deveraux really wanted a toy/treat from all the hundred of things they try and sell at an event such as this, I want to impress upon her that going to the event is a treat enough and that she is so blessed in her life. She expresses that is is difficult when it is all around her and she sees other children getting things. I know I could respond with less frustration with her and yet still send my message, something we will continue to work on.

Monterey State Fair

It was fair time! And of course the Gallaghers hit the fair. Andrew grew up with the fair and loved it, so we now have the tradition to continue. Deveraux and Anderson were so excited.

The Ferris wheel was very fun and high!

Bobo loved the horse ride!!!

There is nothing like seeing your kids having fun together. This was their first ride together, wonderfully fun!! Just fun!
