Andrew found out that the Ringling Barnum Bros. & Bailey circus was coming to San Francisco, so being that great dada that he his, we made it to the circus.

The colors were really beautiful and it was quite a spectacular, when the ring master said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls..." it was exciting.
Fun show, I think we agreed it is one of those things you only need to do every few years. It was also hard as we were walking in, there were several animal activists letting us all know about elephant cruelty that occurs. I am not sure about the facts but it did dampen some of the show. Also, as with children things come up. Deveraux really wanted a toy/treat from all the hundred of things they try and sell at an event such as this, I want to impress upon her that going to the event is a treat enough and that she is so blessed in her life. She expresses that is is difficult when it is all around her and she sees other children getting things. I know I could respond with less frustration with her and yet still send my message, something we will continue to work on.
