Our new house

Out new dwelling in Carmel by the Sea, California. Pine Ridge Way 3 NE is how you describe where we live as the houses in this area do not have house addresses, many of the houses are named and it is fun to look at each of the houses so distinct and wonderful and their names.

Our backyard area, the kids love the bushes and walking through the little walk way. This area could use more work.....maybe in the future.

My "staging area" for painting adventures! On the side is a little gate with a patch of grass which also holds are garden of mostly lettuce.

Our work in progress garage. It is a fun extra area for the kids to play, it also needs to hold storage, an ironing board, dryer, and other garage items. But it works and it is fun to try and get it to a functional but fun space!

Front porch...love it!

Come and sit a spell with me on our porch...we will have coffee and chat!

I love the windows that open in our bedroom

Of course we had to hand our family gallery!

The trees outside our window are just beautiful. We have so much privacy and deer even come into our yard as we are surrounded by all the trees and land.

Sweet little kitchen, it was a bit of a challenge fitting everything in the space.

The kiddos have their play kitchen in our kitchen and I love my little shabby chic table and chairs, a nice place to sit.

Mostly, I really do love the "oldness" of this house. Andrew has had a tougher time of getting used to it. The shower has been one challenging aspect as it was not built for muscular burly men like my husband. I am hoping the space will grow on him. Living room looking into the dinning room

Deveraux and Anderson's room

Raux Raux's side

I like that they share a room in this season and they are right next to our bedroom. I love this dutch door in their room!

The tour concludes....hopefully you get an idea of our days in this new home. I know many of you might not see it so it feels important to show as we all know how significant our homes are to each of us. I really love this house for this time, I think it reminds me of our old houses growing up. It has a hardiness to it and charm and lends itself to creativity.

Thank you Lord for the blessing of this house. I think we are going to name our house, Blessed
