An afternoon trip to Santa Cruz! It was great, we left after church and experienced a great get away! I wore shorts! It was warm and we just soaked in the sun! We have sunny days in Carmel and some warm days, but this felt particularly warm and so nice.
We found a great beach and surf spot called Manresa

Our time just happened to be at Bobo's nap time , that is him under the blue blanket.
Next Drew surprised us by taking us to Tree House Garden and Spa. It was an interesting and fun experience. In moments a little stressful with kiddos....as Bobo popped in his swim trunks and we had some cleaning up to do in our beautiful spa room. I wouldn't call it relaxing, but I am glad we had our two in tow, to share in the experience!
We got to choose a tea to take into our private room and we even got our own "tea lady" who kept our cups filled.

Cold Stone Creamery ice cream to end the day! We can't help but think of Yita and the Williams clan, our dear friends in Maui who own a Cold Stone on Front Street...Aloha!
