Open House for Kindergarten

Open House is a night the school invites parents to come and see the classroom and all the work our students have been doing and all the ways they have grown over the year.
Deveraux's place in the day at the "green" table.

Loved this...the students were asked.: put your dinasaur in some kind of place, pick your dinasaur, and draw youself in the picture ...I loved it becuase Deveraux chose to include all of us...her family!
Mrs. Juaregui loves art work and it was always fun to come into the classroom and see what art was hanging.
Deveraux's cubby

It was very exciting when Mrs. Juaregui gave each student a new pencil.
"I can draw something beautiful"  Students were asked to draw soemthing beautiful.  Deveraux chose to draw three crosses.

"If I were big I could reach the tallest shelf."  And she is reaching for a cookie jar
"If I were very small I could eat crumbs" (he he)

Sometimes a teacher helper would come in the classroom to type the students words on the computer, I like this.

Deveraux has had a lovely backdrop of beauty for her playground playing at school.
Mrs. Juargeui has been a good teacher for Deveraux.  When we left open house, Andrew gave Deveraux's teacher a high five and said, "Good year. Beth."  (oh Drew..)  Mrs. Jauregui told Andrew she has really enjoyed our family and Deveraux.
