Deveraux and I were at Target eating in the snack area (a favorite activity) and we were just talking about school, friends, life....much needed time that I need to remember to have regularly. In our conversation, I went back to something she had said or I followed up...I told her, "We have a long life together and you know I am not going to let you get away with anything." She smiled, I laughed. It is true. For me, the matters of the heart are very important and I want Deveraux to be kind, intentional, and accountable to those in whom she has relationship.
