A great Monday!

I look forward to Monday mornings to have time with Andrew and Bobo.  I feel Andrew and I have potential to connect and have some time together.  This past Monday, he surprised me with this note:

"Shannie, I am amazed at your heart for the youth and your dedication to and love for music, specifically for the guitar.  Every musician should have a good guitar case, especially my beautiful wife....let's go get one."

Now a couple things about this note...I have not felt very dedicated and I hardly practice for Sunday mornings, I have struggled feeling like a musician, and as far as my beauty, I have not had a haircut in about 10 months and I see gray!  ugh!  BUT...my man sees me in his eyes and I love it!

The other day he asked me if I had enough to eat.  It meant the world to me.  May sound crazy but when you are all about taking care of others (Dev and Bobo) and I have a pretty independent husband, to feel his care and attention translates big!  It goes such a long way for me!

And Andrew giving these types of notes at different times has been one of the secrets to 18 good years!

So in the music store (where I ordered my new guitar case), we found out about an electric drum set!  Wow!  Not loud, fun to play, Bobo loved them...only $1,000 for the set!  So I ordered a drum pad for $20.00.  Maybe we can channel some of that banging into drumming!

"You go Bobo!"

Then we headed to a crepe restaurant I have wanted to try and ordered a Nutella and banana crepe...talk about yummy!

A great Monday!
