Days in September

Deveraux started taking theatre classes at Forest Theater.  We love that we can walk.  These are two of her friends.  It is always a decision for many parents which classes to take (gymnastics, dance, piano, etc..) and how many.  There are so many good opportunities and you want to expose your child to all of it.  Yet, with school, time is limited and I want time for play and the idea of not always having to get somewhere is wonderful.  So we are starting with this one class each Thursday.

I had to run and get my camera because there was Deveraux reading "The Going to Bed Book". The book I have memorized from reading to her when she was little and now she was reading it!
One of those moments!
Had to capture this...although the picture didn't come out too well....but it is our Bible study meeting and we did not have child care that day.  All the mama's and about 9 kiddos running in and all around.  Only a group of mama's could persevere and continue to talk about God and matters of the heart through all the chaos!

Our first tomato plant!  In our "garden" that has never really been a flourishing garden!  But we had tomato's!

Bobo tried the tomato, but didn't really care for it.  For me, it was yummy!
Friends celebrating a birthday, Dev and I had a night out, which was good!

One day, Bobo came in the bedroom and said, "I see a mom who is pretty"...those are wonderful little words to hear!

Wanted to capture a part of our play...this was at a beach "restaurant" with Deveraux as my waitress and this was my food.  I love imagination!
New jump rope!

We peeked through the fence on the last day of Beauty and the Beast and caught the last 5 minutes.  Belle was sitting for pictures, so we ran home and grabbed the camera so Deveraux could take a picture with Belle.  Bobo was a little scared this time for a picture.  We loved having this play in our neighborhood.  Bobo believes she lives in the castle on the stage.  Bobo also said he doesn't want a hug from Belle but he wants a hug from the beast.  He also wanted to give Belle a present, "because I wnat to thankful from her".... translation: Mama is thankful for her.  Oh Bobo...
