So cool how the landing strip is right there on
the water, I guess it reminds one that you're on the ocean!
Pearl Harbor
USS Arizona
Remains of the ship
We learned a lot that day at Pearl Harbor. Our kids loved being
there and really took it all in. It was a great day.
Another Junior Park Ranger oath
Bobo really liked the models.
This is back at Kolina Marriott. We have stayed here a few times
thanks to Andrews employment, I love this property. It's low
key and beautiful, the city is a drive away, and the pools are fun.
It is just a special place.
Andrew and I snuck away for a few minutes for
sunset while our kids were in the pool.
I think this was a first...they are growing!
And so am I....I think I was 30 weeks on this trip.
We got to do S'mores.
The kids loved our room.
Bobo and Dev were in a tube race.
Dev and I thoroughly enjoyed water aerobics....
I highly recommend it!
His prize for competing in the tube race!
Our next stop was a surprise from Drew, a night at the
Disney Resort, Aulani.
We drive over in our suits...the check in and lobby were not only
beautiful but the service was amazing. The photos behind were
taken by kids and made a beautifully creative rainbow of colors.
We liked the mouse ears made out of towels on the bed.
And our names were on the room keys!
There were hints of Disney tied in with
Hawaiian.
I love that Andrew likes to surprise and bless us.
Picture doesn't really do justice, but really pretty at night from
our lanai. all the lights.
We bumped into some silly characters.
We all liked the lazy river.
Aloha Minnie!
Dinner from our room on the lanai, we make it economical!
Not great pictures...Dev and I went out that night to
grab some food and bring it back to the room. It was
so pretty with the lights. The hotel definitely has a
magical feel.
Our "strip"
Nothing like Coastal Living magazine
by the pool.
This was so funny because Bobo did not want his
picture taken with a character. I asked him to take one
and this is what goofy did to Bobo!
This was right before an employee
told Bobo he could not be up there.
This is what we did for 24 hours...wanting
to get our "money's worth!"
Pool Party with the characters!
It was difficult to capture the beauty of this lobby.
There was a masculine and a feminine side with
beautiful Hawaiian drawings.
Next stop was Waikiki!
The next day, Andrew took them to a water park,
I was on my own for hours....wow!
Our hotel, in the city!
On my day alone out and about, I came upon a Pilipino festival.
A wedding couple.
And a belly! My feet were so tired, I wore the wrong shoes.
Waikiki
Just me and my baby all day.
So crowded!
Loved this sign and thought I could duplicate,
maybe with different words???
So funny...the belly that took over!
I was in heaven...chopped salad from Cheesecake Factory!
Rooftop pool
Bobo forgot about street performers, its been awhile since we
were in the big city.
lots of pool time, we are tired.
We love to hit the shops!
Our boy surfed Waikiki! He loved it!
Ready to head home,,its great we are only 30 minutes away
It was a great inner Island trip!
