We watched this sweet puppy for Kimberly while
she was off island. She is a very good dog
but I realized adding one more to our crew
is too much for us at this point.
We brought out the old pack and play that was Bobo's,
thinking she might want to sleep in it soon. For now,
it is another toy and in the early morning hours and
safe place to play while mama and dada catch
a few more minutes of sleep!
She is cocooned with pillows for nap.
My two babies for the week...they would follow me around.
This is what I woke up to when I opened my
eyes...sweet!
Time for Sabbath
Let me tell you sometimes pizza is the
best Sabbath meal, especially
when you have just hosted book club!
We sometimes get a little messy when we eat
and sometimes we head straight to bath
after we eat...so we know we can get
a bit messy!
Dev and I made a homemade berry pie!
Love waking up and looking at
these two faces!
Clothes swap at church. I am strangely sentimental
about my clothes. It is hard for me to give them
up...they are walking (wearing) memories.
This was the dress I bought for my high school reunion.
Dev and I had fun together and walked away
with a few items.
First ride.
I used to carry around another certain
little one naked at baby beach not
so long ago.
This boy was in the water for about 6 hours...
two different beaches!
Let the summer purge begin! Started with my
way to crammed dresser drawer of shirts. Trying hard
with my daughter's (not as sentimental) help!
Feeling good as I look at my drawer now that I can close
and see neatly folded piles.
leftover berry pie on our new great Target plastic
plates that Dev mentioned in her prayer last night
that she is thankful and loves new plates that she looks
forward to making her family breakfast and lunch because
she can serve them on pretty plates!
Well I say, bring on the pretty plates!
My daughter laughed at my Victoria Secret pajama's
that I have had for awhile.
Loved
Sometimes Bobo doesn't want to go to Sunday
School. This Sunday I said he had to stay
seated the whole time if he stayed in
big church....so he learned how to tie
his shoelace. He has worked on it before,
but we mostly wear slippers or no shoes.
Thus, not much practice. But he recently
received some really cool DC shoes.
Our sweet friends left to return back to Nebraska.
They were here for 6 months and we so enjoyed
their family, we are hoping they will be back.
When Kendra arrived she boldly asked for
friends. So even though we knew they may not stay,
we invested, because that is what you do. On Maui,
it is tempting to hold your heart. But then so much
would be missed.
She loves braids.
Starting to think about a sign for Cambria's birthday!
Watched the ferry come in...took Dev to the harbor
for her to spend the day with friends over on
a neighbor island, Lanai.
Working on her sign and having fun being creative!
You are almost one!
