Summer house

I have enjoyed changing decor with the seasons.  It is fun to search the Internet for ideas, plan, shop, create, and keep an eye our when we are out and about or on a trip for those things that fit with our current colors and theme.  This was a simple wreath, I may add more over time, the material is white linen and you hand sew the pieces together to make a lovely flower.

I found these wild colored shutters at a outdoor flea market/garage sale and was drawn to them.   I met the woman I bought them from early in our move to CA who paints furniture to sell and who has inspired me to do the same.   I thought they would go outside but they found a home inside for summer. 

Blue is our summer color.
