We brought in the New Year with the 5K Resolution Run at 5 pm at Washington Park. A very familiar
park that we lived near growing up and went to grade school right across the street. I had not
been there for a very long time.
I did not really want to run in the race. I get nervous about races and have not done one for a long time with the exception of the marathon. Stef wanted to try it so she was my reason!
This was Carter's first race!

Okay so I had a "full on" runners high! It was so fun! I loved running around the park. I loved running in the evening. I loved cheering and motivating Stef throughout the race! I am so glad I did it and felt I had a break though and hope to sign up for more in 2013!

Our night was very relaxed. The girls gave foot rubs to all of us!!

Sandy and I hung out on New Years Day. A dear friend since 5th grade. So thankful for this sweet friend, we share much history and have continued a friendship that blooms across distance and time.
The long awaited American Girl Doll Store!! Deveraux said this was her highlight. It was one of mine also because we got to be together and I just followed her around the store.
She had some decisions to make with gift cards.
She chose Kit, thank you to Papa D and Tia!!!!
She was so happy.
A new violin, thanks to the Bergstroms for her birthday....
Gigi also was able to go with us to the store and it was wonderful to have her come.
Later Bobo wanted some Gigi time.
