Some Colorado summer....

A familiar scene during our time in Colorado.
I love the Bergstrom's deck!
A running joke is that I always have to get a "dinner shot".

Everytime I am home, I ask for a cousins picture!

We went on a hike.  The goal became trying to catch craw-dads.

"First fishing"

Pool time at Gigi's!

This is a sad picture, but of course, I also love it.
Deveraux expressed such sadness at saying good-bye
to her dada at the airport after he was only able to stay
two days and then needed to head back to work.

Bobo loved this water rocket!

My nephew, Benton, asked me to take him on a date.
Of course, I was honored.  We headed to Whole Foods
and had some good talk time.  I love you buddy!
Mall time.  Although, we were pretty bummed
that The American Girl Doll store closed early.
I could not get enough of this sky on this summer evening.
I remember it so well growing up.  Overcast, the color,
the feel, ready to rain....it is one of those things if I could
bottle it up, I would.

Anderson spent so much time with these skates on.
Sweet Carter, who is so good with Bobo, played with him.
It seemed the swimming pool vest also helped!

Love Coley bear (I wonder how much longer I can call him that name)
Jump Street!  A fun jumping place!

Stef was really helpful on this trip with my kiddos.

So I have been wanting to learn how to do use the Potters
wheel from Roy.  One night when all the cousins were together,
we hit the pottery studio.  Cole also threw a pot!

Everybody molding!

Using a wheel was so much more difficult than I thought
it would be.  It is a hard concept to grasp and feel your way through.
It is definitely something I want to try again with more time.

Thanks Roy (still in his hospital scrubs but willing to dive in)!

Our little nesting area at night.

I took this just to remember a silly night.  Deveraux couldn't
get to sleep and was making Roni laugh as she couldn't
stop her giggles.

Definitely a high light...Canvas and Cocktails
with Aunt Heather.

It was so fun to get lost in a painting for awhile
and just be about creating!  Good therapy!
Thanks Lou, kind and generous of heart!

A wonderful unexpected meeting with the Ingram's.
I met Chelsea and her family in Maui.
I have blogged about them in the past.  I have always
admired the way Chelsea loves her boys fiercely and
is so involved as a mom.  I found out they had just returned
from Thailand a few days prior.  So after reading about
their journey for almost two years on her blog, Oursonnylife,
there we were in a park together!  So thankful it worked out!

Peyton and Conner

Chelsea has always loved my two,
that is just the way she is....it was so good to be
in her presence again.
Dance time with the cousins
We watched a fabulous performance!
Much of the time we are at their cousin's house, I barely see
my kiddos as they are playing up a storm!

We did this joint little creative endeavor with my mom
and later put pictures on it from her celebration party.
(Mustache man got in on the pic)
Another little adventure during our was to help my mom
spruce up her porch a little bit.  I love a project!  I love making a
space better.  And I love results that someone can enjoy. I wanted my
mom to enjoy her outside space.  I started getting some grand plans
going, we scaled back a bit....but my mom was so excited about the
space which made me so happy!

Church picnic!

Hey sweet Missy
Another highlight....Roller City!  Oh my goodness!
The kids loved it!  I loved it.  Thank you Sweet Stef for knowing how
much my kids loved it and providing two trips!  I went the second time and I
got so into it...dancing to the music, loosing inhibitions...it was like you
stepped into the skating world and transformed...back to 8th grade!
An always favorite activity is the Bergstrom trampoline.

Thank you Bergstrom's for always opening your home
to us providing good memories!

The worms of summer!

....get him Bobo
Love being with my mom

a little music lesson

A hello to Uncle Gaines on our way to the airport,
I am always glad when we get to see him.
It was a quick trip, I would have liked more time
to see more of our friends.  Hopefully next trip.
So glad we had mom's celebration!
Good-bye our sweet ones!  Until next time!
