Good Morning Maui

Where are we?   Bobo was the first to rise.

I was hoping to keep him content for a bit and get

a little more sleep...but alas I arose, after all this was our

first morning.  I took him for a ride to McDonalds (which

became our friend for coffee and parfaits over the next

couple of weeks).  I also took him on a drive on the familiar

lower road and pointed out all the sites.  He just took

it all in.  We all just took it all in!

This is where we all camped out!  We slept in some blankets

Kimberly had rounded up (which I had forgotten we might need

until Joy asked me what we would be sleeping on),

Where do we begin....we first just walked through the house to assess

all that needed to be done.  We had a lot of cleaning to do.  We also

met two of our renters as they came to clear out their things.  It was

a little uncomfortable as we tried to navigate.  One  of the guys

suggested we hire someone to clean, I was all for it and it would

be the first time I had a professional cleaner in my house.

Well she did some good, but I had to go back over where she

cleaned.  I also ended up cleaning all the blinds in the house.

I felt I was claiming and making ready our space.  It felt good,

but just a lot.  I totaled about 20 hours of cleaning.

mom also helped a lot, she was so good about being available
