Still settling in....

Gigi and Dev attempting to make shoes for her doll.
I overlooked this big pile for a few days in the name
of creativity.  Deveraux really was enjoying learning
how to make doll things from recycled materials.  She
also had enjoyed watching other people talk about
their dolls...social media!
A clean room!  Ready and waiting for me to paint!
Ugh!  The playroom/school room also ready for
me to organize!
Having a little art lesson
Our main living areas upstairs are livable and mostly unpacked.

We would work in the days and try to hit the beach
or ocean in the evenings.  This is Napili Bay again,
the kids love the waves here.  It is mostly a sandy
bottom with gentle waves.  Bobo learned how to
charge at the waves and just plunge in.  We also
have started using his wet suit.  I had told him in Carmel,
you will not use a wet suit in Maui.  Well, his little
body does not retain a lot of heat, so wet suit in Maui!

Going until dusk
Blessed assurance anywhere we go!
Uncle Lance and Auntie Catherine, our dear Maui friends from
the beginning asked us out to celebrate Catherine's birthday!
We were honored!
Right on the water

a dear friend who has loved us!

I had to throw out my marathon pants, too much wear!
But oh they provided me a victory!
Piles and piles of clothes to go through.  When one sees
all their things in one area. one realizes just how much
they have.  It felt like I had so many new clothes, because
my Maui clothes have been stored away.

Bobo was doing his own organizing one morning.
He brought us into his room to show us his areas of
work.  He had set up all these areas.  I guess I should
not let him get away with not picking up anymore....

Yep, lined up his shoes!
An exciting day when the electrician came
to put up our chandelier and try to
fix some of our funky lighting system in this house.
This represented some of the weeds of those
first weeks settling in.   Nothing seemed to go
too smoothly or go completely right the first time.

Bobo was enthralled with the very tall ladder!

Trips to the "other side" as we call it.
Long lists for the house and stops at the
major stores like Wal-mart, Costco, and Home Depot.
It is about a 45 minute drive from home.
We have been to church now several times.
It has been a good place to worship and we
have seen many people we have known
throughout our 9 years in Maui.
