A little House Tour

We cleaned up the house to post pictures on Air BB to see if we could rent it

out while we were gone for Christmas. 

 

 

 

  

 

Then I took pictures after we fixed it up over the following months,

this is right before we left in December.

I finally put up the fun light downstairs.

We cleaned all our windows, cleaned the downstairs lanai on

hands and knees, added pillows, added comfy chairs in the

house, and Andrew painted baseboards, doors, and window ledges. 

We bought a bed off Craigs list for Deveraux.

We had someone sew arm covers and ottoman cover to hide

all the tears in this well loved old chair.

We did a lot of cleaning.  Andrew also rented a wet vac to

do the carpets, it stopped working at about 2 in the morning

before we left on our vacation so we couldn't finish the

upstairs, we had to say, "so be it."

We got this picnic table from Lowes and thanks to Pinterest

got a great idea for this fun design of arrows.

We hung curtains for Bobo's room and we cleaned

 out his dresser and took down all the personal

photos in all the bedrooms.

A pop of blue with these two new chairs.

And a long awaited lanai couch that I love!

Andrew painted the top white and asked me to do the same

treatment to the legs that we did to the picnic table.  I think it

turned out really cute and we didn't need to purchase a new table.

Now that we cleaned and did all the work it would have been

nice to live in it.  But it was good knowing we had made

improvements that we would be able to enjoy s well.

Andrew brought this couch home the day before we left.

ahhh we do things a little crazy.
