Many pics...many CO memories!

Hanging with Gigi.  We went and got mom
after we dropped Drew off.

Loved my morning runs.  I began listening to
Read Aloud Revival Podcast which inspired
me to begin reading more to my kids.

We always enjoy the Bergstrom's church.
This is a foreshadowing picture for our evening
activity...we celebrate Noelle's birthday.

First was Chatfield for some swim time.
Carter and Bobo heading out.
We were excited Dev got to celebrate with Noelle for her
13th birthday!

Happy to be in water again.

Benton DROVE us to the campsite!
My first ride with him.

We had fun!

It was beautiful!

The girl cousins!
Sweet Stef gave Bobo so much freedom with
the campfire!

He was so dirty!
So we went home to sleep in our beds
and then joined the party in the morning.

Taking down camp.
A trip to Target later with the cousins.

Buddies for our trip to the
Littleton Museum.

We got a little too close.

A typical farm home in the early 1800's.

I love all that pottery!

Working the farm....

One room school house.

She wants to be a teacher.

They wanted their picture taken on the different
equipment.  The greatest thing about this museum
is you get to touch things and it feels so
approachable and friendly for learning.

I don't know how many pictures were taken at the
museum by Dev and I...a lot!  We had so much
fun.  One of my favorite kinds of outings...
learning, beauty, and hands on.
It was funny as we were leaving, one of the
fine print rules was limited photography.

We would usually go get Gigi and
go out or bring her to Stef's house.
Today, we just hung out at her place.
They were having an activity where they
would play music and all sing along.
We were in the back singing and dancing.

Now off to celebrate Aunt Heather,
Bobo was greeted by Uncle B
with an almost dunk in the water.

I love you Lou.  You have such a generous
kind heart.  Thank you for loving me!

Still getting used to her walking.

.....and getting into everything!
We had desert and hung out at Whole Foods.

A run over to H & M for a late night shopping trip!
Introducing Cambria to indoor play areas.

I remember Dev in this outfit in
Breckenridge.
Noelle teaching her to drink out of a straw.
She's doing it

This is one way to clean the windshield.

Just a memory from the talent show.

One night after Dev had been sick
all day (yes, she got the stomach flu
again in CO) we went down the hill to get
out..it was fun with skating and they had
me doing boot camp!
A favorite spot for Cambria was the deck.
She started by going up and down the step
and then she would just walk around.  It worked
for both of us because I loved being out there also!

I loved my sleeping area, I would open the window
for some cool breeze and turn on the fire.
Complete with baby toes!
These two were busy in the kitchen.

Next stop- Canvas and Cocktails. We have to
go every time and Aunt Heather is so gracious.
Still not 100% but we didn't want her to miss out!

Bobo said he needed a Sprite, because "Aunt Heather
always gives us a Sprite when we come."
Trip Traditions...the things we do each time,
they are good.

A favorite activity...taking apart my wallet!
Great Job you three!

So fun having Missy hang out with us!

He said he climbed for me and dada.

To celebrate Papa's birthday we went to
the rec center rock wall and our picnic idea
was rained out, so we ate at Stef's.

A little climbing for sister.

She loved dragging Aunt Heather's purse around.

My still sick girl.

COUSINS!

We all went around and said our "Papa word" that we correlate
with him...adventure, intense, sensitive, musical....to name a few.
Cozy nap time.

I was in the bathroom with Gigi at her place and
we came out and these two were dancing and so
Cambria joined in.  I just wanted to bring life
to mom when we were with her.

I was telling these two who aren't always
kind to one another how much it blessed
me that they were dancing.  Dev was on
her first day of feeling really good.  Bobo
said, "I like when Dev is sick because
she is fresh when she is done."

Mom loves her hand being held.
One day Dev was feeling sad about Drew leaving.
Mom comforted her, it was so good for me to see.
Dev said later, "When Gigi comforts you it doesn't
seem like she has Alzheimer's."

Setting up for Aunt Heather's birthday tea.
I told them to Utube setting up for a party
to make it more fun, they loved it!

It's mall time!  This was on Dev's list.

Bobo was so funny.  He went in a couple of stores
twice so he turned his shirt around to the back
so they "wouldn't recognize him."
Anthropology...one of our stops!
Pottery Barn kids...another stop we make.
Bobo told me one evening before bed,
"My eyes are about to go out."

His pick at the mall.
She lifts her hands when she hears worship music.
Love that Carter still wanted to play with them.
I just love playing!

Roller City...their pick every time!

This time she was running around...not
skating...yet!
I wanted one last Colorado outside moment and
the Bergstrom's delivered.  They took us to
a lake and we had some fun!

Crazy Carter!

Can they do airplane Cambria?
Bobo did it!

We made it to American Girl Doll.  Dev was
sick again but we were leaving the next day
and we still had not made it to the favorite
doll shop.  We pressed forward.

.
We were able to sped a few hours with some dear friends,
Jim and Sue.  Family friends.  It struck me that I want our
kids to have "family friends."  I feel that our moving around lifestyle
doesn't always lend itself to "family friends" but we have a
few, we just don't see them often. Every time I am able
to see family friends from my past, I am blessed.
Missy was so great with Cambria!
We will miss Gigi!

Mama got her hair cut.
Funny story was getting to the hair appointment
was very stressful due to really bad traffic
and a crying baby.  I jumped out of the
car to give Cambria to Heather who
graciously watched her during the
appointment.  I realized after I sat in
the car that Cambria's poopy diaper
had leaked onto my shirt.  I had
left my wipes in the car.  I used
my purse to cover my shirt and
just prayed the stylist did not smell
me!  I am a mama!

Sweet Carter built a boat for Bobo.
Another used to be Deveraux outfit.
Dev showing all her treats from Colorado.
Last night....we say good-bye for now.
Here we go.
I had some anxiety about the trip traveling with three.
But, these guys were traveling champs!  It went really well.
Cambria ended up getting a fever on the second flight but she
just laid on me and slept off and on.
Checking out some airport goods.
Thanks Carter for giving us Legos to play with
as they were good entertainment in the airport.

I will never tire of these toes.
It is just like Lou to be so thoughtful as to
provide us with individually packaged treats.

Making us laugh!

I was so excited.  After about 6 1/2 hours total of
flying time, I had my boy and littlest asleep and
Dev resting.  I pulled out the inflight device
and started to watch a movie.  I had a few
stops and starts getting things settled.  But
after an 18 minute watch time an
announcement came on overhead that
they would be collecting the devices.
Ugh!  Too good to be true.
I have not complaints....it was a good flight.
With three beautifully good children!
We woke up a bit tired...our clocks will take a few days to adjust.
We had a good trip.  We celebrated Uncle Brent, Uncle Roy, Aunt
Heather, Aunt Dot, Noelle, and dad's birthday!
I saw Jody and Sandy and got to do our catch up,
we visited our favorite shops, and engaged in some fun
Colorado spots.  I love that my kids love Colorado.
Our family is so good to help us continue
to create beautiful memories.
I am so glad we had more time with mom.
We arrived home to be met with
Hands, Foot, and Mouth disease.
So that is why Cambria had a fever on the plane.
I couldn't understand why she was so fussy the
day we arrived home and I
couldn't put her down.  I couldn't unpack
and just couldn't figure out what was wrong.
After texting heather and showing her
Cambria's feet and she suggested
H, F, & M disease.  We went into the
doctor and it was confirmed.  Dev was
starting to feel sick and sure enough
she also contracted the virus.
There is a great story behind this jewelry.
A woman on the plane sitting behind us
kept handing us jewelry that she was making.
She would hand it up to us like a little
fairy...it was funny because she just
kept sending things up.  She was so sweet
giving us each a little token.
Sorry for this baby who can't communicate
but has been so uncomfortable.
We ran to the other side and just felt the
Krispy Kreme "pull".  It was also our anniversary
coming up, so we felt we could splurge a bit.
That is my donut I believe!  It was absolutely
amazing melt in your mouth Amazing!

Taking that top off again and she is really
loving her babies.
It is good to be home with Drew and find
our families rhythm but we miss Colorado.
It was good to have some days to adjust
being back by needing to stay indoors,
but beginning to feel a bit restless and
knowing all that Maui can offer as well
as the things it does not.
Let's see what the days hold....
