September happenings...

We have spent some time at Lowes
getting supplies for some home projects and
I always walk out with a new plant!
Thinking about wood floors???
She loves to push.
It's Saturday Football!

LSU Tigers are in the house!

This Tiger is tuckered!
We have to say good-bye to some of our baby
gear, our garage and attic can get cluttered
quickly.  This stroller was for when Bobo was
born and Dev could ride on back.  I can't
think about giving these things away too much
or I would never get rid of them.
We have to say good-bye to the baby car seat,
the only plus is she gets to use Deveraux
and Bobo's old toddler car seat!!
She is very sad!

It had been so long since we were at the Ritz-
we have to introduce our girl to one of our spots!

Still working through hands, foot, and mouth
disease...now the peeling!
Just another day in her owl shirt
wearing her cheesy grin!

We did "All About me" collages
for school.
Cambria was really interested in
Deveraux's as she "studied" it.

Had to take this shot as I thought about
Bobo in this exact spot in our home
not so long ago.

Brother/sister love
On this day, she only had kisses for him.
I told Bobo, she looks at him like
he hung the moon.

School nap

In the mornings they go for a ride.

We do what we can to entertain to get school
done even of that means pulling out all the
glue sticks!
This makes my heart sing when I come out from putting
Cambria down and these two are working.
Sometimes I come out to arguing or playing,
but this day made me glad!
Enjoying the pull...this was my toy when I was little.

My first nod to fall.  I was not ready for the big
fall décor to come out.  I have been not wanting
to bring out more décor as I find myself not
wanting to feel cluttered.  And not having
fall weather probably doesn't help.
Fall Sabbath cake.

Sleep in Saturday...Cambria came in to snuggle
and I ate in up as Bobo recorded our moment.

A moment of anniversary celebration as the kids gave us
a lei they had received from a hula dance...

Leftover Sabbath cake!

I love the new pillows I got for the guest bed!
Her job is to undue everything and my job
is to try and keep up!

Out with the old (thank you husband) shades
and in with the new!
Dev's new corner with a newly painted side table.
So sad.  Our faithful coffee grinder that we
have had since we were married died!
New cups for Cambria!

One Sunday Dev and I got crazy and made
a Barbie dollhouse and a little house.
We had great fun!
Peek-A-Boo!

We love Tradder Joe's scones!

Here is our little Barbie house we made.

her room!

We had our friends over and made our
annual Rice Krispy houses for summer.

Loving the babies!

Frogs and Lizards!
One day Dev was feeling restless and I was needing
to leave to go to a meeting.  I was already late to the
meeting so I came back home before leaving the
neighborhood and got Bobo to get Dev.  I told her
to hop in the car.  Then as we were driving I said,
"Where do you want to go?"  It was fun to surprise her.
She choose shopping at the Gap for slippers and I
choose coffee.  We both were needing to "fly the coop."
We have had a good experience with Feed My Sheep.
I am thankful for the experience.  They are moving
locations from close to our house and I am hoping
we may still be able to volunteer from time to time.
I want to find these kinds of ministry opportunities for
our kids!

On this day she kept eating the apples!

I love my front porch and it makes me smile
when I walk up.  The front bed finally took
off and the plants are happy!
Kimberly put this collage together after Dev
posted a pic she tool of Cambria on Instagram.
I loved seeing them in the same shirt.

She loves raising her hands when music
comes on.

I was feeling the "weeds" of life during the time
I did not have a coffee grinder, a broken broom,
and broken glasses.
Papa is back to Maui!  He was getting ready
to take some pics for Old Man and the
Sea so the kids helped him get ready.

That is our Papa!

She loves forward rolls!

He went on a walk with Dev and Malia,
I met him on the corner and he came rolling
toward me with a big flower!

I loved when Dev pulled out "Wonderplay"
a book I had with her when she was little
and did a couple of activities with Cambria.
There were many things given to me in this moment.
It was just good to watch, receive, and share
in the "tending."
First sticker time.
I love all these moments they have with one
another due to being at home for school.

Outside Nature & Science time.

Watercolor for Gigi's Birthday.

We had our last Bible Study and everyone
brought food and enjoyed celebrating
this journey over the summer together.

Our sunset that evening.
Our book, "A Praying Life" spoke of the feast that
awaits in our praying life with the Lord.
Every once in awhile they all end up in here.
yummy toes..one day those pants will be short-boo hoo!
Sisters

Her first "ride".  She was cracking us up on this
day, she did not want to get out of the car once
she got in.  We would open the little door and she
would close it.  She loved it!

So September you keep going and we will
keep coming along for the ride!
