Deveraux's Birthday

Deveraux's birthday fell on a Sunday.  So we had a special

breakfast with her favorite....bagels.

Next up...church.

Making friends...although Cambria often

grabs her newly met little people.

A gift for Dev from Aunt Heather.

We had our first Family Advent Night where I introduced

Advent to our church family.  Deveraux said it was okay

for her birthday night because she loves Advent.

It was a special night of sharing the meaning of Advent and

then what Advent looks like as November 27th was the

first Night of Advent.

Everyone lit their wreaths.

I really felt the church body at work.  I had brought an idea and

it was carried out by many hands.  It was such a good

experience to be a part of and be supported.

Then we hit Lahaina to celebrate our Deveraux!

Our girl.  The one who made me a mama.  The one who carries on

the traditions to celebrate.  Who wants to create meaning and

bring beauty to so many situations.  Deveraux who delights in

being kind.  Who loves relationship, conversation, and play.

Deveraux creative, innovative, intelligent, and wise.

We love being with you.  We love you and all that you

offer to our family and to each of us individually.
