holidays are coiming

Thanksgiving art

ho ho ho!

Decorating for Christmas was not as fun,
eventful, and exciting this year.  First of all,
we are not going to be home for Christmas so that
always makes us do a bit less.

This was also the tree we were trying to decorate
with our favorite ornaments.
I was not feeling 100% and I am usually the one
to get the Christmas decorating spirit going.
But we pressed through.
Dev was one of our main Advent readers this year.

First tea party.  I remember doing this with Dev
with these dishes.

More macramé!

We decided to make an advent calendar (something
I had seen on a blog) with
envelopes and inside each one an activity or
a moment to experience Christmas.

Our sweet friends came to say hello while on island.
So pretty Dev!

Love that he teachers her Math, far better at
the subject than I am.

Hey Bobo and hey amazing sunset!

Watching the boys come in.

We finally made our candles using our kit.

Cars!

I love that I received this treasure from Bobo.
Off to church.
Bobo on the big screen.  Still working on the
Christmas play.

Helping with "Old Man and the Sea" hair.
The Banyan tree all lit up!
Dev did such a good job of introducing Papa for
"Old Man and the Sea."

It's Christmas photo time!

I didn't know how many more years that I could have them all
wear the same pajama's...through the holidays, Bobo didn't really
want to wear the shirt and Dev didn't really choose the P.J.'s much....
But man they look cute in the photo....ha ha!

I think Cambria likes her P.J.'s the best!
