Andrew's birthday involved lunch at home,
games, cake, and a surf session.
Drew showing his moves, I remember this
card trick from our college days.
Drew asked for Dev, Stef, and I to surf on his birthday.
I took it for the team and surfed. It had been a
long time! I felt a bit rusty, or a lot rusty,
but glad to get wet!
I walked in from my run to this scene.
Happy Birthday Cambria!
We had to go to the park and swing for Cambria.
We stopped in at the farmer's market for treats.
How I remember one on one times with Cambria here.
And she used to push that cart.
Oh Cambria. You are a joy. You are your own
person but pretty easy going. You don't love
water but growing into living on this island.
You love music, dancing, being with your brother and sister,
and having snacks. You love being outside,
clothes, and holding baskets or purses, and babies.
You are the darling of our family and we all
delight in you.
You didn't receive many gifts. We still have
yet to buy yours....although you receive
many packages throughout the year from
ebay with beautiful clothes.
This girl is not deprived.
You didn't want to let your gift bag go as we
walked the mall and had a last meal before
taking the Bergstrom's to the airport.
Walking the aisles seems to often bring out
some silliness in Dev... I think Drew and
I both felt a little sad about her lack of
presents so I bought her a new nightgown and Andrew
a new dress.
Her new dress from dada.
First nightgown.
Sweet dreams birthday girl!
