We moved furniture out to make room to clean carpets in
preparation for for all our brunch guests.
We had a good school day on Good Friday.
Our Good Friday service for our family
was at Windmill beach. Papa also joined us.
I feel this sense of anticipation. The tangible way to describe the feeling is like walking the streets of Carmel by the Sea. Walking down a block with so many delights to catch the eye. A feeling like you have been there before and yet it is new and fresh. You feel as though you belong and you are right where you are supposed to be.
There is a celebration brewing. My faith life has not always been easy. I am such a questioner, a seeker. But I know that I have a faithful friend who has walked so many miles with me from the time I remember and we are celebrating Him.
This year our house will be full. That is fun for me and fills me with excitement. But I am also learning how to be faithful in the small and if we only had a table full of people that would be enough.
Jesus. Thank you for taking my place. Thank you for loving my wandering heart time and time again. Thank you my blessings outweigh my burdens. I love you.
It was beautiful.
By His wounds, we are healed.
