Our sweet neighbors gave the kids Easter gifts....
Deveraux told me this morning that she slept with her Bible last night. She loves that she can read it because it is for early readers!
So it's not about the hat, shoes, dress, gloves...but they are fun!
Deveraux ended up not wearing the gloves, she said with the while outfit, she felt to young looking. But the hat went with us to church.
Anderson liked his new shirt also!
Easter Baskets!
Bobo loves chocolate!
Deveraux so reminds me of me sometimes....she set out all their Easter treats in an arrangement....
Waiting patiently for the Easter egg hunt!
He was so excited when he would find one and proudly show us!
I definitely bought enough candy for a neighborhood hunt!
Going to find the last few that were left "unfound"!
There was a "Christmas" feel to the day. I think much of that was due to building up to the day. The night before Easter, Deveraux said she was most excited to sing with me at church! At church, there were several people who got baptized during the service, a wonderful thing to witness! Later when Deveraux was talking to Papa, she told him about the people getting "bap-a-tized." She wasn't sure she wanted to have her nose plugged and be dipped back in the water. .....one day!
