The morning after he turned 3, we woke in the big bed. Without words, he hugged and held into my neck. His little arms just held on and I stayed, feeling big and small at the same time. Nothing else mattered for those minutes, a bit of heaven on earth!"You are eating it?" I ask, "Why?" "Because I want to", he replies. A good response for a boy who uses his taste sense interchangeably with his sight and hearing senses. To figure out what something is about, he will often taste it. Not always a great choice, but one that discovers!
I love our boy so very much!
