A Deveraux Date

Deveraux reports that she wants to live in Colorado when she grows up.

She wants to be a lifeguard and babysitter among her first jobs.

She wants a black van to be her first car (good to know she thinks we are cool)!

Deveraux and I had such a good date.  I so love our dates together!

She brought her "Mom and Me" book.  There was this section called,

"Would you Rather..."  Questions are asked to each other about what you would rather

have or do and I found out some fun things about Devearux.

She likes the moon more than the sun.

She likes Christmas better than her birthday.

She likes the dark now a lot and is not afraid of it anymore.

She likes accessories better than shoes or clothes.

She would like to learn piano more than violin.

We had such a wonderful time at the Crepe Company, these

dates are so important for us.

I learned that I need to interact with Deveraux on a fun level and not always

on a "wanting to make her better" or teach her something, or "probe" deeply,

Just be with her and get to know this girl which seems silly because she is my girl,

but she is also becoming her own nd I want to be a part of that.....

We have such fun when we are out together, there is a lightness!
