We started with breakfast....red pancakes! Bobo slept through breakfast
and then dada and Deveraux were off to work and school.
Valentines for each classmate
tradition to get a new item to wear for the day....
Bobo was up and opened his Valentine gift
A bow tie
His look he gives us sometimes...he raises his eyebrows, I love it!
Bobo and I were invited to a Valentines gathering with friends.
artwork we got to bring home
exchanging some cards
I was able to drop off Bobo at dada's work so I could go to Deveraux's school for her party. The teacher did not want many parents to come as the kids were reading poetry and it was a simple party, but she welcomed me to come and video, so I was not going to miss this chance.
It is endearing to see. The kids were so sweet walking around making deliveries.
Bobo received a Curious George tea set. Andrew questioned a tea set but I just couldn't let it go. He has enjoyed the books and I just felt he needed a tea set to enjoy and maybe pass down one day.
Valentines tradition to have a tea party!
He loves pouring and mixing at the dinner table...so this is a fit!
They threw rose petals on me as I came outside...
The silliness started to set in....
Here we go
We ended soon after....hehe
So my sisters told me about these amazing meals they were preparing for their families, we had Costco pizza. But it was good and quick. I will keep working on the amazing meals!
Dada totally surprised us with a Vitamix..couldn't believe it!
We made strawberry ice cream...just strawberries and ice!
I would say a great Valentines Day!
Although Andrew and I love celebrating our love and having a date, we have had fun in the past years also celebrating with our kiddos love!
