Last Boston morning run
Hey Bobo!
Of course, Drew ran to Beacon Hil with me
and I was able to see those streets one more time!
Walk here on a Saturday morning, pick up fresh flowers....
Then the boys went on an adventure. They biked to the
rental car place to get our car and the girls hit
some streets I had seen with fun shops and coffee!
We like dates with the three of us!
Dev still says this was the best bagel she has
ever had!
We kinda like hot cocoa!
We found an Anthropology!
Going to Harvard!
The Alcott's lived here for 3 years and later moved
to the brown house next door.
Next up, the Alcott's house.
"Little Women's" backyard.
Closed for tours for the day, but we will try
and come back.
Minute Man National Park
(From Dev's fall journal)
Old North Bridge
Old North Bridge also known as The Concord Bridge or The North Bridge it is a very special place that signifies the Revolutionary War. It is a historical site in the Battle of Concord, the first day of battle during the American War of Independence.
The wooden bridge that stands today is a replica of the one that stood at the day of the battle. It and nearby sites are now part of the Minute Man National Historical Park, which lots of people love to visit.
When the British troops were marching the first area they stopped was at Old North Bridge where the Union soldiers marched forward and fought them. This bridge is bittersweet it helped us lose many Union soldiers, but it also start the road to a new America. The current bridge is located in its original location off Monument Street in Concord, Massachusetts. It spans the Concord River 0.5 miles northeast from the start of the river at the confluence of the Assabet River and the Sudbury River at Egg Rock. Old North Bridge has a quiet and sweet atmosphere and I got very inspired so for fun with my sibling we decided to act it out. Old North Bridge is very important and I am glad I got to see it.
Everyone is a soldier now.
A good day!
