So thankful, we get keep getting to come back and
we have a sense of home.
When I have distance from home in heart and head, it is so good for me to reflect and see what I
want to do differently. I have loved John Mark Comer's sermons and the challenge to
have practices before God that bring us closer.
These are some I hope to implement.
Practice:
Sabbath every week:
Stop, rest, and remember what God has done that it will bind us to Him for the future. If we don’t and keep Moving at the pace we might get confused and think it is actually us doing the building.
Evening prayer with Drew
To bed earlier and up early for quiet time and exercise.
Morning table at 8:15 every morning.
Nourish with good food and minimal sugar
Andrew and I listen to 1 to 2 sermons a week on our own and then date night once a week on Sunday evenings to be together and talk.
Nap/rest time in own rooms
Homeward bound!
Little miss ordered this suitcase and it arrived from
Amazon at Aunt Heather's doorway. It was in my cart
but someone pressed, "deliver!"
