While Mama is working out....little girls can
have lollipops!
Just a picture of all the research we were trying
to do for NYC, such a big city. It was hard to
figure out where everything was in
conjunction with everything else.
New York!
So we did it! Andrew dropped us off and we rode
the subway. Who knew that Iphone's have
subway direction. We also met a nice man
at the station who was an opera singer and confirmed
we were on the right train.
First stop, "Jacks wife Freda", Deveraux had done her
research and our resident foodie was in the house!
Here we were...I felt a little bit like a fish out of
water being with all these New Yorkers...spit out into
the city from the island of Maui.
Next on the list was Joe's Pizza.
Then we went to Washington Park. We were
"invited" to play chess and I paid for Dev
to have an experience with a chess player.
Bobo and Cambria fit right in playing at the park.
Those famous arches!
Then Andrew met us at the fountain after he returned
the rental car! We were happy to be reunited!
Next up, Georgetown Cupcake!
SoHo
Everyone wanted in on the photoshoot,
instant movie set!
Next spot for Dev, Laduree for Macaroons.
The big Nike store.
Tried to go here but closed and we were a bit tired,
so it was okay.
But we found one more yummy bakery on the walk home.
I couldn't resist an authentic Italian bakery, that is what
is so amazing about NYC. In one city block, you can
taste cuisine from all over the world!
What a first day in NYC!
Now let's figure out how we can score some
Broadway tickets before bed!
