Heading to Seattle. Day 22

We started our day at The Turner Joy
We were so excited especially for Bobo to tour this Navy ship,
but they were getting it ready for a Halloween spooky ship
inside and it was closed.  But the man said we could walk all
around the outside.  So we did, all the way up.

Bobo still thought it was really cool and did not show
any disappointment.  He is good with "rolling" with it.

Just capturing those fall trees in the background,
I never tire of seeing them.
Next up was the Naval Under Seas Museum
This was an interactive exhibit showing them how difficult
it is to do work underwater like loosen a big bolt from a
screw with big gloves...just add water and cold and it is
even more difficult.
I enjoyed reading to the kids about the different diving
suits and how they have evolved.
From this periscope you could see our car in the parking lot!

We made a stop to Target, my first one since
leaving Monterey, we were a bit excited!
Our kiddos were in need of some shoes.
Bobo got a new pair of "quick starts" as Papa D
taught him, he was very happy with his new shoes!
Waiting for the ferry in Bremerton to head into Seattle.
First off are the bikes
Our van was the one closest to the water.

Andrew has expressed how amazed he is by all the accessible
water in Washington.  So many inlets with available land
to build along the water.  It was very picturesque.

It was cool, more on the stern than the bow.

It was about a 45 minute ride to Seattle, the lights were pretty.

Running down to the car to get ready to head out, it was
exciting to see the big Ferris wheel lit up!

Again, our car was just right there and we got to stay
outside the car up until we were almost driving off the ferry.

First the bikes
Hyatt Seattle downtown for a 2 night stay, it was a beautiful
room on the top floor.

After settling in, we headed out for a walk and a bite to eat.  I told
Bobo to hold up this bread because he had taken it off
someone's plate who had left.  It reminded me of someone
I know.....(it was still wrapped in the paper).
Rarely do we have to carry Bobo out,
he loved being in Barnes and Noble, it was
late and we were tired!!  I was so tired, I just
fell on the bed when got back to our room!
Tomorrow, we hit the streets of Seattle!
