Lovers Point in Pacific Grove
My sweet girls a bit blurry but poison oak face...bless her heart!
Making sushi together
Of course, Young's eye for beauty
Last stop...Carmel by the Sea.
A bit of a whirlwind day. I was pretty much "the driver" for
seeing the sights on this trip, I just didn't want to leave anything
out. I have been seeing it in my imagination over the
last two years, since we left.
We saved Carmel for the last day. I wish we would
have had more time or had chosen two days
for this dear to my heart spot. But we made it
to the fire station!
A strong fire guy for several years!
An older boy now, who isn't as "taken" by fire trucks,
but knows they are still cool.
We all got to sit in the fire truck..even if we didn't know it!
Ahhh.those bakery windows!
One day I thought to myself, "When I grow up, I want
to live in Carmel"...then I realized I was grown up.
We hurried and stopped in all our favorite shops..which included
the T-shirt shop, the bakery for treats, the coffee shop for my favorite
coffee, and the ornament shop to get our new one for the year!
Whew! Then a dash to the airport in San Francisco!
We love you Carmel, Monterey, Pacific Grove, and our dear
dear sweet friends!!!
Young, skipping with her buddy before we moved from CA.
Thank you for opening your home to our full family and making
us feel so welcome!
We love you guys!
