more wishes

A favorite Disney memory...was going into Disney early.  Usually
we don't get there too early because we stay late to catch
parade and fireworks.  But Dev and I snuck out with Cambria
for a princess morning.

We happened upon sleeping beauty.

Now my girl has never really been "into"
princesses.  She hasn't even really enjoyed
Disneyland as many other kiddos do...
However...slowly Disney began to work
its magic....
It was also working its magic on someone else!

We got to ride in the Disney fire truck.
Window shopping

Oh yes, we had to try them on!

Next, I left the park and got to see my buddy Marci!
I am still not over her leaving Maui several years
ago and I so value our friendship.  Now we can talk!
It was fun to see her home and a bit of her life.
I met up with our family, we had dinner and went
back into the park.

We went on Splash Mountain about 3 times or so....

Besides taking Dev to Disney when she was 3 when
I had not been for so long and it felt so magical...this was
our best Disney trip, it seemed like the kids enjoyed it the best.
It wasn't as crowded and Bobo could ride the big rides!

Had to stop in the Disney Starbucks...it was so crowded!!
We got their silhouettes done.  The man was amazing, he just
looked at their profile and using scissors (no tracing) he
cut it out of the black paper.

Then we got the firework show.  It was amazing.
Complete with music, amazing graphics, and
the fireworks.  Everyone was in awe and taken up.
It reminded me of what heaven will be like.  In the
way that we will all be caught up...we all long for
beauty and for our souls to be moved.

There is the castle in the distance.

Baby girl's first Mickey ears.  She was also
battling a cold, she had a barky cough
which was rough.  She hung in there.  She
just wore cozy pajamas and I wore her.

I was so glad we had a place to stay within walking
distance to the park.  It made a difference especially
with Dev not feeling 100%, we could walk back and
the boys could be crazy and stay...which they did
one night...bonding as they rode the scary rides!
