Our days
A treat when I have hands empty to sit with Dev.
She has really been working on her writing this year.
We have had these little planters for awhile...going to try them out.
The seeds are growing! Sadly, they al died
shorting after this...we will try again, of course.
Another presentation: this one on Martin Luther King Jr.
Whenever dad came to dinner in the spring, he was
given the honor of a presentation.
We had a good day of exploring Martin Luther King, Jr.
I love when we incorporate reading, watching, and
doing (crafts/writing), and put it all together in a presentation.
I know that is probably Dev's favorite way to learn.
I think we are helping crawling along.
Bobo picked this book up on this particular morning
and started reading it...I do believe I cried.
Presenting
Whatever works to track your words I say!
Cambria loves to be under the table during school,
we have to say, "be careful" and track where she is
so our chairs don't accidently come down on her.
She is definitely a part. Usually she starts the morning with
us and then I put her down for a nap and then she ends
the day with us in the classroom. She is along for the ride!
Measuring how long Goliath would have been....
I asked Dev to set up a little hot bar for us with drinks for
a borrowed idea I read to sip during book time. The idea proved to
be a bit better than reality. Bobo loved the honey!
I love seeing the new areas she ventures into....
